First things first, you need to register for the exam to take it!
Since Sleep is multidisciplinary, you need to register through your primary board, however the exam is administered through the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Here are the links for the different specialties:
Internal Medicine (ABIM): https://www.abim.org/certification/exam-information/sleep-medicine/exam-dates.aspx
Family Medicine (ABFM): https://www.theabfm.org/caq/datessleep.aspx
Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN): https://www.abpn.com/become-certified/taking-a-subspecialty-exam/sleep-medicine/
Pediatrics (ABP): https://www.abp.org/content/exam-dates-and-fees-subspecialties
Anesthesiology (ABA): http://www.theaba.org/Exams/Sleep-Medicine/Sleep-Medicine
ENT (ABOHNS): https://www.aboto.org/sleep_certification.html
All of the examinations are held on November 6, 2019. Pearson VUE is facilitating the exam in multiple sites across the country, and that is where you sign up. (Not to be confused with Prometric, which we are used to with our Step Exams!)
